Adding Opportunities in the Account Detail view
You can view information about the opportunities linked to the selected account. You can also create a new opportunity for the account.
To open the opportunities tab:
- Open the Account Detail view.
- Click the Opportunities tab. If the tab is not visible, click More Tabs.
To add an opportunity:
- Click
The Insert opportunity dialog box opens.
. - Specify opportunity information in the fields.
- Click .
The Opportunities tab displays the following information:
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Open | The number of opportunities and the total potential of all open opportunities for the account. |
Closed-Won | The number of opportunities and the total potential of all closed and won opportunities for the account. |
Closed-Lost | The number of opportunities and the total potential of all closed and lost opportunities for the account. |
Inactive | The number of opportunities and the total potential of all inactive opportunities for the account. |
The Opportunities tab grid has the following columns:
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Opportunity Name | The opportunity description. |
Status | The opportunity status. |
Potential | The total revenue that could be generated by the opportunity. |
Probability | The likelihood that the opportunity will be won. |
Days Open | The number of days the opportunity has been open. |
