Editing the MaxExportRecordCount custom setting

The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

You can edit the MaxExportRecordCount custom setting for exporting groups. The MaxExportRecordCount setting determines how many records can be exported to a file or Microsoft Excel. This setting is a global setting for all users.

To edit

1. On the Navigation Bar, click Administration, and then click Custom Settings to open the Custom Settings List view.
2. Click the MaxExportRecordCount group.
3. In the list, click MaxExportRecordCount.
4. View or edit the following:
   • Category - Verify the category is Group. Do not edit this information.
   • Key - Verify the description is MaxExportRecordCount. Do not edit this information.
   • Data Value - Do one of the following:
     • Type the maximum number of records to be exported from a group.
     • Type 0 if you do not want to set a maximum limit of records to be exported.
     The default value is 65000.
   • Data Type - Leave blank.
   • Version- Add or edit the version number to indicate a change was made.
     The version number does not increment automatically.
5. Click Save.
