Modifying a global join

A global join is permanent and exists from session to session in the Query Builder data tree structure. With predefined global joins (system joins), you can only modify the Join Type, Visibility, and Cascade Type options.

Note: Only the system administrator and users with the required permissions can access these features.

To modify:

Access the Query Builder and click Global Joins. See Accessing the Query Builder

Note: This option only displays if you are logged on as Admin.
Select the join to modify and click Edit in the Global Join Manager window.
Change the Join Type, Visibility, or Cascade Type.
Click OK.
