Customizing the M3 Price Service Template OrderType code

You can change M3 Price Service Template Default Order Type code to a custom M3 CO Type code defined by the M3 OIS010 interface. By default, the M3 Price Service Template Default Order Type code is 'CD1'.

Note: The M3 pricing API requires a CO Type code that includes the 'order category 1 for simulation' setting. For more information refer to the M3 integration documentation.

To update the M3 Price Service templates:

  1. Access Integration > Integrations > Back Office Extension. The Back Office Extension detail view window is displayed.
  2. Click the Back Offices tab.
  3. Select the active Back Office implementation.
  4. Click the Price Services tab.
  5. Update the price services, using one of these options:
    • OrderLineTotal
    • QuoteOrderLineTotal
    • OpportunityOrderLineTotal

    The Price Service view is displayed. See Using the Price Service detail view.

  6. Click the Request Template tab.
  7. Update the <OrderTypeCode> XML element with the implementation-specific CO Type code value: <OrderTypeCode>CD1</OrderTypeCode>.
