Using the Database Manager Views CRM Details tab

The Database Manager Views tab allows the administrator to manage database views and perform view-related tasks. In the detail pane, the CRM Details tab displays the view properties and definition and allows the administrator to edit.

Note: Only the system administrator and users with the required permissions can access these features. These features are not available in Oracle environments.

To open the Views CRM Details tab:

  1. Select Administration > Database Manager on the navigation bar. Click the Views tab. The Views list view is displayed.
  2. Click the CRM Details tab. The CRM Details view is displayed.
  3. View or modify the following information:
    Expose to model
    If this check box selected, the view is available to create an entity in the Application Architect Entity Model.
    Note: Once this check box is selected and saved, you cannot change this option.
    Display Name
    The name to be displayed in Query Builder.
    Note: This field is enabled only if Expose to model check box is selected.
    Description
    A brief explanation of the purpose.
    Note: This field is enabled only if Expose to model check box is selected.
  4. View or modify Definition of the view. If you update the SQL definition, you must click the Update option to apply the changes to the view. If the view name is changed, it must adhere to the following rules required by Infor CRM SLX system. See Adding a View in Database Manager
  5. Click Save.
