Viewing Deployment Target Settings
Note: Only the system administrator and users with the required
permissions can access these features.
- Click Manage Deployments on the Developer Tools menu. The Deployment Manager window is displayed.
- Select the required target or portal from the Deployments tree view

Review this information in the Target Settings:
- IIS Target
- Target Name
- The name of the target the portal will be deployed to.
- Server
- The name of your Web Host server. By default, this is localhost; however, you can deploy to any Web Host server.
- Base Directory
- The location where the files generated for the Web server are saved. For example, \\inetpub\wwwroot.
- Port
- The port number for your Web Host server.
- Application Portal
- The name of the application pool for your Web site. For example, if you used the Infor CRM SLX Web site, the App Pool is SalesLogix.
- Deploy Target
- Determines whether this target is active and will be deployed.
- Restore Virtual Directory Settings on Update
- Identifies if the IIS settings will restore the default configuration upon update.
- File System or SlxJobService
Target
- Target Name
- The name of the target the portal will be deployed to.
- Base Directory
- The location where the files generated for the Web server are saved. For example, \\inetpub\wwwroot.
- Deploy Target
- Determines whether this target is active and will be deployed.

- Remote User or Remote Office target
- Remote target information is not available in the Web Client Deployment Manager.
