Viewing or modifying Sales Order or Quote Product information

From the Sales Order or Quote detail view Products tab you can view or modify product information or add a custom product.

The available product details, tabs, and ability to edit details depends on if the product is a standard Infor CRM product, a custom product, if the implementation is integrated with other applications, and the specific options set by your administrator.

Note: You can update product information only when the Sales Order or Quote is not closed.

To access the Products tab:

  1. Access the Sales Order or Quote detail view, and click the Products tab.
  2. Perform one of the following:
    • Click the Edit link of the product to change. To modify the product in the grid, select the product to modify and select or enter information in the appropriate field.
      Note: If the Edit link is not available, the product cannot be modified.
    • Add a custom product. See Adding or modifying a custom product
  3. View or modify the product information:
    Line Number
    The product line information.
    Product
    The name of the product ID.
    Description
    The product description.
  4. Use the tabs to view or modify additional product information.
    Note: The available tabs are based on if the product is custom, and if the implementation is integrated with Back Office Extension, and options set by your administrator.
