Working with a Pie widget

A pie chart displays segments of a round chart to break down a total into parts. For example, segmenting the number of open tickets by urgency.

Note:

For working with Welcome page pie charts, see Configuring a Welcome page Charting widget.
Your security access determines the functions that are available. You can contact your administrator for modifying the access.

To define or modify the widget properties:

Access the Dashboard or a widget panel.
Select the layout for which the widget properties must be defined or modified.

Note: You can add or modify widgets only to a layout that you have created.
Select Add Widget from the menu and select Pie. The Widget settings window is displayed.

Note: You can also click the Settings icon to modify the widget properties and the data source(s).
Define or modify the properties for the widget. See Widget Settings.
Add a data source for the widget. You can also specify the color for each data source. See Working with widgets data sources.
Click Save.
