Configuring CRM Workflows

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.
  1. Define the SMTP outbound email gateway parameters on the Office Profile Email Setup tab. See Office Profile Email Setup tab.
  2. Specify additional entities, relationships, or entity properties for the CRM Workflows, if required, in Application Architect. See the Application Architect Help topic: Exposing Entities, Properties, and Relationships to CRM Workflows for detailed steps.
    Note: A portal build and deployment is required when additional entities, relationships or properties are defined in the entity model.
  3. Sign into the application Web Client as an administrative user.
  4. Select CRM Workflow on the Integrations list view. See Using the Integrations list view
  5. View this information:
    Field Description/Action
    Integration CRM Workflow

    The name of the integration.

    Version The version of the integration.
    Sync Method Does Not Sync

    Indicates the process in which information is synchronized between the integrated application and Infor CRM SLX.

    Authentication Type Basic

    The method for authenticating data.

    Note: The integration can fail, if the authentication type is changed.
    Link Type System

    The type of link used to synchronize data with the integrated application and Infor CRM SLX.

    Note: The data is managed through a single link.
    Enabled Use this option to enable or disable synchronization process for the integration.
    Note: When enabled, this option synchronizes data with the integrated application and Infor CRM SLX. This makes all the subsequent synchronization options available.
  6. Verify that the Enabled check box is selected. To turn off CRM Workflow, clear the Enabled check box.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Use the Workflow tab to create and define a CRM Workflow. See Adding a workflow
  9. Add workflow steps to the Workflow definition.
