Using the Data Source SData entity where clause Query Builder

You can use the Query Builder interface to add one or more rules that are automatically formatted in the SData where clause Composition.

  1. Access the Add/Edit Data Source window using one of the steps:
    • Click Add Data Source or Add Contextual Data Source in the Widget Settings window.
    • Click Edit corresponding to an existing data source in the Widget Settings window.
  2. Expand the Advanced section and click Query Builder.
  3. Perform one of these actions:
    • Click the +Group option to define grouped (AND/OR) statements. Specify this information:
      • Select AND, when all statements in the group must be met.
      • Select OR, when a statement in the group must be met.
      • Click +Rule to add a statement.
      • Click +Group to add another grouped section.
    • To add a new statement, click the +Rule option.
      • Click the first field and select the column name or property you require to define.
      • Click the next field and select an operator from the list.
      • Select the required option:
        • Value: A specific value.
        • Field: The value for the specified field.
      • Specify the required values in the remaining fields. The remaining fields are displayed based on the column name or property selected in the first field list.
  4. Click Save.
