Working with Dashboards and Widget panels

Note: Your security access determines the functions that are available. You can contact your administrator for modifying the access.

Dashboards

The dashboard comprises of these three dashboard layouts:

  • My Dashboard
  • Sales
  • Samples

To access the Dashboard, you can click Dashboard on the Navigation Bar.

Each layout displays customizable, pre-defined analytics in the form of chart and list widgets.

Widget panels

Widget panels can display in-context widget information. By default, the widget panel is added to list views replacing the existing KPIs panel. The widget panel can also be added to other views, by the administrator.

Layouts

For widget panels and dashboards, you can create your own layout or copy a shared layout wherein you can add or modify the widgets. For layouts shared by the administrator or other users, you can only view the widget data.

If same dimension value is used in multiple widgets in a layout, this value is represented by the same color in all chart widgets, for easier comparison. Example, for multiple widgets that display data for account managers (the dimension), the same color is used for each user across all widgets in that layout.

Note: If you are not the owner of the layout, you can modify or share the layout data only after you create a copy of the layout.
