Working with a Bubble Chart widget

A bubble chart uses bubbles or circles to display the relationship between categories.

Note: Your security access determines the functions that are available. You can contact your administrator for modifying the access.

To add or modify a bubble widget:

  1. Access the Dashboard or a widget panel.
  2. Select the layout which contains the widgets that must be modified.
Note: You can only add or modify widgets to a layout that you have created.
  3. Click Add Widget on the menu and select Bubble.
Note: You can also click the Settings icon to modify a bubble widget properties and data source(s). The Edit Widget Settings window is displayed.
  4. Review or modify the properties for the widget. For more information, see Widget Settings.
  5. Add data sources to create bubbles. You must define multiple data sources using the same entity, group, dimension, and sort order, but different metrics. If the data sources do not specify the same entity and dimension, the columns are grouped separately by dimension. You can also specify the color for each data source. For more information, see Working with widgets data sources.
  6. Click Save.
