About price lists

A price list contains a group of products and their prices. Price lists are assigned to direct and dealer representatives. When the reps sign in to CPQ Enterprise Quoting and create a quote or an order, the products and prices from the assigned price list are displayed.

For example, a window and door manufacturer has multiple window and door products. They create a price list that contains their door products/prices and another price list that contains their window products/prices. They can assign the door price list to door dealers and the window price list to windows dealers. When those dealers sign in to CPQ Enterprise Quoting and create a quote, the Item option list shows the products and prices in their assigned price list.
