Enabling or disabling a product

After products are added to the system, you can enable or disable them as needed. Products that are disabled remain in the system and may still be associated with categories, but they are not displayed in the product list or the Product Catalog. They cannot be added to a quote or order.

You can enable and disable products in two places, as described here:

  • In the grid on the Products form: Select Product Maintenance > Products. Use the filter icons in the top row to find specific products and then select or clear the check box in the Enabled column.
  • At the product detail level: Select Product Maintenance > Products. Find and open the product to work with. Select or clear the Enabled check box.
