Using task notifications for change requests

In CPQ Enterprise Quoting, dealers and direct representatives can request changes to pricing or specific engineering configurations on quotes and orders. Dealer reps can also request changes to manufacturer discounts and price-by terms on agreements.

When a change is requested, notifications for the request and for the response to the request are sent via Infor ION and received by appropriate users in their Infor Ming.le Inbox and Task list.

These are the requirements for using task notifications:

• All of the setup tasks for configuring workflows must be completed. Refer to the Infor CPQ Enterprise Quoting Configuration Guide for Infor OS.
• The Enable Ming.le Notification setting must be selected on the Features tab in application preferences.
• The Quote/Order Ming.le Notification setting must be enabled for applicable dealer representatives. This is normally completed by the dealer administrator when setting up dealer reps, as described in the CPQ Enterprise Quoting user guide for dealers.
• Pricing and configuration approvers must be added to the Pricing Approvers and Configuration Approvers groups in CPQ Enterprise Quoting at My Company > Approver Groups.
