Business entities

Entities are the types of information described by or provided in the application. These business entities are used in CPQ Enterprise Quoting:

Entity	Description
Manufacturer	The manufacturer is the company that has purchased the Infor CPQ Enterprise Quoting software application.
Dealer	A dealer buys products from the manufacturer and resells those products to the end customers. Manufacturers often distribute their products through many different dealers. Dealers can also purchase inventory from the manufacturer in advance of identifying the end customer.
Customer	The customer purchases products from the dealer. Each dealership has multiple customer companies that purchase products through them.
