Creating an approver group

You should create approver groups only if your system has been customized with additional functions that require approval. As an example, see the information about configuration change requests in How approval task notifications are triggered.

  1. In CPQ Enterprise Quoting, select My Company > Approver Groups.
  2. Click Create Approver Group.
  3. Specify an ID for the group; for example, Pricing Approvers.
  4. Specify a name and description.

    These values can be translated. See Adding translations for field values.

  5. Above the Approvers grid, click Add Approver.
  6. Specify the name and contact information for this approver.
  7. Repeat for all approvers needed in this group.
