Line item actions
These functions can be used for individual line items on quotes and orders:
Function | Description |
---|---|
Change Options | Used for configurable items only. See Recovering from configuration errors and Saving changes to an existing named configuration. |
Request Review | Used for configurable items only. When an item has been set up by the manufacturer to require review, its status is displayed as Requires Review. You can select in the line actions menu to write comments and submit the item for approval. |
Name Configuration | Used for configurable items only. See Creating a named configuration. |
Reset Configuration | Used to reset a line to its last known good configuration. See also Recovering from configuration errors. |
Resume Configuration | Used to continue working on a configuration with a status of Partially Saved. See also Saving and resuming a partial configuration. |
Adjust Price | For specifying the values that should be used to calculate the price of the
selected line item. Values that you specify are validated to comply with defined
system settings. See also About adjusting prices. Note: You can also
submit a price change request from the Pricing Details section of the Quote Summary.
This may affect the effective discount of each product on the quote/order. See About pricing details.

Comment | Provides a text field where you can add comments for the line item. This comment is displayed on the bid document. |
Attachments | Used to attach one or more files to the line item. This function is available
only if enabled for use by the EQ administrator. Supported file types are specified by
the administrator. Note: When
enabled, this functionality can also be used at the quote/order level by using the
option on the menu.

Copy | Creates a duplicate record of the selected line item and inserts this record as a new line item on the quote. |
Export | Generates a .json file of the selected line item and adds it to your Downloads folder. |
Remove | Used to delete the selected line item from the quote/order. |
