Form access by role

This table shows CPQ Enterprise Quoting forms that each user role can access from the navigation menu.

Note: In many cases, direct users and dealer users have access to the same forms, but for direct users, the forms pertain to the manufacturer and for dealer users, the forms pertain to the dealership. For example, when a direct user opens the Territories form, the manufacturer's territories are displayed. When a dealer user opens that form, the dealership's territories are displayed.

* The Product Catalog and Projects forms are displayed in the navigation menu only if they have been enabled for use by the EQ administrator. The Product Catalog, when enabled, is also available to all user types when the Add Item button is clicked for a quote or order.

** Dealer and direct quote and order forms are always displayed for direct rep users; however, their ability to enter a new quote or order on those forms can be controlled by an administrator using the Quote/Order Privilege and On-Behalf-Of Quote/Order Privilege settings on the Representatives form. See Adding a direct rep user.

Only dealer quote and order forms are displayed for dealer users, and their ability to enter a new quote or order on those forms can be controlled by a dealer administrator using the Quote/Order Privilege setting on the Representatives form. This is described in the CPQ Enterprise Quoting user guide for dealers.

*** The Customers form is not intended to be used by manufacturers whose CPQ Enterprise Quoting system is integrated with an ERP system. If customer records are added here, they will not be shared with the ERP system.

Dealer users must use this form to enter dealership customers into the system. This is described in the CPQ Enterprise Quoting user guide for dealers.
