Adding a territory

Note: Administrators, if your ERP system is integrated with CPQ Enterprise Quoting, you may be able to move territory records via BODs or APIs. However, in most cases, you still must set up the parent/child relationships between territories using the Parent Territory field on the Territories form.
  1. In CPQ Enterprise Quoting, select My Company > Territories.
  2. Click Create Territory.
  3. Specify this information:
    ERP ID
Specify the ERP ID from your host system.
    Name
Specify a name for the territory.
    Description
Optionally, you can add a description for the territory.
Note: Name and Description field values can be translated. See Adding translations for field values.
    Parent Territory
If you are adding territories manually, then for the first territory that you add, you must select your main territory as the parent territory, as defined by an administrator in application preferences.

For subsequent territories, you can set up the hierarchical structure as needed.

    Status
To make this territory active for use, select Active. When it is active, it can be associated with representatives and dealerships/customers.
