Personalizing grids in Enterprise Quoting

You can personalize your workspace by showing, hiding, reordering, and resizing columns in any grid within CPQ Enterprise Quoting.

Users can personalize the IDS grids in CPQ Enterprise Quoting to fit their preference.

A Personalize Columns option is available in the ellipsis menu above any grid in various modules in the application. You can use this feature to select columns you want to display in the grid. A toggle is available for each field column that users can switch to On or Off to display or hide the column on the grid. The selection displayed in the Personalize Columns window depend on the fields present on each module. For example, when accessed from the grid in the Named Configurations page, the field options available for the grid are Name, Part Number, For User, and Enabled.

A Reset to Default option is available in the same menu. You can use this to return the display to the default visible headers, column sizing and arrangement.

The ability to personalize columns is available for the grids in the main and sub pages of these modules:
  • My Company
  • Quotes
  • Orders
  • Projects and Items
  • Reports

You can also customize the order in which columns are arranged on the grid by dragging and dropping the columns to the desired position. Users can also adjust column widths by dragging the column border to the right or left.

Additionally, users can use the records per page feature to set their preferred number of records to be displayed per page load.

Once you personalize a grid on the page, this customization persists in that page. How a grid is personalized is user-specific and does not affect the grids of other users.
