About the Search, Filter, and Sort functions

You can use the Search, Filter By, Status, and Sort By line item functions to refine the line items displayed within a contract, quote, or order. These functions can also be used in conjunction with the other standard line item functions.

For example:

When a user specifies desc in the Search field, the list reloads to display all items that contain desc in the Name, Description, Label, and Configuration details fields. You can refine the search further by selecting an option from the FILTER BY list and clicking Apply. Clicking SELECT ALL, and then VALIDATE updates only the selected records returned in the search.

In this same example, If filter and sort options are applied and the displayed items are select, then clicking on RESET loads back all the items in the grid but retains the selection previously made.

Additionally, you can use the search, filter, and sort functions to refine the items to include when generating a document from a quote, order, or contract.
