Standard line item functions

Standard functions are available for use for a collection of line items on a quote or order.

This table shows the information on the standard line item functions displayed in the row above the quote or order grid.

Function Description
Search You can use this field to specify exact or partial values to display specific items.
Filter by You can use this function to filter the contents of the grid by Line Type. These are the available filter options:
  • Configurable
  • Name Configurations
  • Non-Configurable
For Dealer or OBO quotes or orders, these additional options are available:
  • My Item
  • Write-in Items
Sort by You can use this function to sort the contents of the grid in Ascending or Descending order by these listed grouping options:
  • Last Modified Date
  • Line Number
  • Price
  • Quantity
  • Requested Ship Date
  • Total
Status You can use this function to filter the contents of the grid by selecting one of the listed Line, Configuration, or 3D statuses.
Apply Agreement Discount Used to ensure that the product discount from the latest approved agreement is applied on an existing line of a quote or an order.

You can use this function when the selected customer and product are part of an approved agreement and when you quote/order without a pricing approval request.
Select All Used to select all configured line items on the quote or order, so you can validate them all at once.
Deselect All Used to clear all selected line items on the quote or order.
Validate Used to ensure the accuracy of updates made to configurable items on a quote or an order, and to ensure that your selections for the item are still valid. You can select one or more lines, or click Select All, and then click Validate.
Reset Used to reset selected line items to the last know good configuration.

You can reset an individual line item using the Reset Configuration option on the line actions menu. See also Recovering from configuration errors.
... The ellipsis icon opens a menu of these additional functions:
  • Add Write-In Item: Used to add an item to the order that is not included in the Product Catalog or standard product list.
  • Expand All: Expands item details for all items on the quote/order.
  • Collapse All: Collapses item details for all items on the quote/order.
