This topic describes how to add a representative to your dealership.
  1. In CPQ Enterprise Quoting, select My Company > Representatives.
  2. Click Create Representative.
  3. Under Representative Information, specify the required information for this user. The email address must be unique.
  4. Under User Account, you can view the status of this account. See Checking user account status.
  5. Under Application Settings, specify this information:

    Specify User.
Note: Typically, No Access is used only when you want to keep an existing user in the system, but they no longer need access to forms.
    Quote/Order Privilege
    Choose from these options:
    • None: The user can view but does not need to create or modify quotes or orders for the dealership.
    • Quote Only: The user needs to enter only quotes for the dealership. Quotes created by a user at this level must be converted to orders by a different user who has at least the Can Convert Quotes to Orders permission.
    • Can Convert Quotes to Orders: The user needs the ability to enter quotes and to convert partial or full quotes to orders.
    • Can Order Directly: The user needs the ability to enter direct quotes and convert partial or full quotes to orders. They can also create an order without having to first create a quote. Only this permission level can place and maintain orders.
    Quote/Order Ming.le Notification
Use this setting to enable notifications from Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le for quote and order change requests.
Note: Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le task notifications must be set up by the manufacturer EQ administrator in order for this setting to work.
Quote/Order Privilege when On-Behalf-Of Child Dealer
This field is displayed only if the CPQ Enterprise Quotingmanufacturer's administrator created child dealers for your dealership. This setting determines the privileges that define what the new dealer representative can do when they impersonate a child dealership, and create quotes or orders on their behalf. If you have one or more defined child dealers, choose from these options:
    • None: The user can view but does not need to create or modify quotes or orders on behalf of a selected dealer.
    • Quote Only: The user needs to enter only quotes on behalf of a selected child dealer. Quotes created by a user at this level must be converted to orders by a different user who has at least the Can Convert Quotes to Orders permission.
    • Can Convert Quotes to Orders: The user needs the ability to enter quotes and to convert partial or full quotes to orders, on behalf of a selected dealer.
    • Can Order Directly: The user needs the ability to create quotes and convert partial or full quotes to orders, on behalf of a selected dealer. They can also create a dealer order without having to first create a quote. Only this permission level can place and maintain child dealer orders.
    Manage Territories
If the user needs the ability to manage territories, select this check box. This enables the user to add, update, remove, and assign territories, based on the scope of the user's own assigned territories.
    Manage Child Dealer Customers
If the user needs the ability to manage the customers that belong to a child dealer, select this check box. This feature is only available when the user is in the OBO mode of a child dealer. This enables the user to add, update and remove customers as a child dealer.
    Manage Child Dealer Items
If the user needs the ability to manage the items that belong to a child dealer, select this check box. This feature is only available when the user is in the OBO mode of a child dealer. This enables the user to add, update and remove items as a child dealer.
  6. Configuration profiles are optional system profiles that can be created by developers. They are a collection of properties used to determine a user experience during configuration. If your system does not have a defined configuration profile, the value is set to Default.
After you save this user record, Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le sends email messages from Infor CloudSuite Identities to the email address that was specified for the new dealer representative. These messages contain links the user must click to access the email verification form from Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le. After the email address is verified, the new dealer representative is directed to sign in to CPQ Enterprise Quoting.
