Running a local consolidation
For standard accounts, you can either run a local consolidation from a data entry page or manually from the Local Consolidate page.
Running a local consolidation from a data entry page is an automatic consolidation. On the data entry page, click
or .If a consolidation is still running after the view refreshes and displays the values saved to the database, the view is not refreshed again after the local consolidation completes. To view the results of the consolidation in this case, click Refresh Data.
If a data entry view has one or more periods outside the focus range but no writeback is allowed for these periods, data for the in-focus periods submits successfully. In this case, you can ignore the focus range warning that displays after the local consolidation completes.
To run a local consolidation manually:
- Open the Local Consolidate page.
- Follow the steps under "Running the consolidation pages".
