Overlapping parameters

The elimination process updates any unposted journal adjustments previously created if the journals include overlapping parameters. For example, if you create a work-in-process journal for the consolidation unit Operations and then create an approved journal for North America (a descendant of Operations), only the overlapping adjustment data for New York and Toronto is updated to approved status. The adjustment data for Europe and Asia remain as work-in-process.
