Creating a distribution

The administrator determines which actions are distributed. When a distribution is created, those costs specified by the administrator automatically distribute to the receiving unit.

To create a distribution:

  1. Open the Position Assignments page.
  2. Click Position Details for the source unit.
  3. Click Distribute.
  4. In the Unit column, select the destination unit.
  5. In the Distribution % column, specify a percentage of the expense amount to distribute to each primary dimension member. The amount specified here is spread to all periods in all quarters.
  6. Optionally, modify the period columns.
  7. Click Calculate.
