Refreshing Decision views
Decision views are held in memory by View Manager and by the user associated with the Microsoft Office document. When designing a view to be inserted; the view is put into memory using the Insert or Refresh command. Changes made in View Manager are not reflected in the Microsoft Office document until the view is removed from memory. You can remove the view from memory by:
- Using the Monitor Views page to unload the view from memory for the user. Then, use the EPM Office add-in Refresh All option to reload the view.
- The same user can show the view in CPM and use the Recall Original View command on the right-click menu to force a change in memory.
- The view is automatically unloaded after 30 minutes. The next time the Microsoft Office document is opened, the Decision view is updated.
