Workforce Budget

The Workforce Budget report provides a summary of the workforce employees or positions for the selected primary dimensions.

The report includes the workforce budgets, summary action groups, and action details for all positions and employees. The report provides the total workforce budget for the selected primary dimensions as well as subtotals by position type, employee, allocations, and actions. All budget periods are displayed by default. The position types included in the report are authorized, vacant and assigned.

Option Description
Version List of Version dimension members. Select a version member to filter the report.
Unit List of primary dimension members. Typically this is the Unit dimension. Select one or more primary dimension members to filter the report. The report automatically includes all leaf members under the selected primary dimension member.
Position List of position names. Select one or more names to filter the report.
Budget Level Select the budget level. Choose:
  • Employee
  • Position

Employee displays each employee budget and position budget in the report. You can choose to display the employee name, employee ID, or both.

Position displays the budgets for a position which is sum of all employee and position budgets for the position, by view.

This section is not shown on the report if you are budgeting by position. The report is run for the position level, no employees are displayed on the report. The data is summed up to the position level.

Periodicity Specify the level to display data. The default is the periodicity of Workforce Budgeting. Only the selected level plus the total year is displayed. No interim levels are displayed. For example, if Monthly is selected, quarters are not displayed.
Start Select a start period for the report.
End Select an end period for the report.
Action Level Select the action or action group for which to run the report: Summary Action Group lets you select an action group and its included actions. Single Action lets you select a single action.
Remember Filter As Opens the Remember Filter dialog box which lets you specify a filter name. This option lets you save the selections for future use. Saved filters are accessed by clicking Recall Filter. Saved filters are stored in the browser cache. Clearing the cache removes the saved filters.

This option is only available if the navigation URL contains the parameter Filter=On.

Allocation Detail Specify whether to display all allowed leaf member and consolidation node allocation details, total allocation only or specific member details.
