Role definitions

Administrators define the enterprise-wide application requirements, implement the application, and monitor the database. The administrator is the main driver.

Controllers drive the financial process at corporate and large divisions. Controllers collect data, prepare journals such as GAAP adjustments, and consolidate data. Financial Consolidation controllers also prepare intercompany eliminations. Users at this level cannot change the application design in any way.

Budget holders are Budgeting-only users. They specify employee and asset information as well as unaggregated financial data for the budgeting process.

Accountants are Financial Consolidation-only users. They specify unaggregated financial data, create journals, and run formula calculations for local data.

Analysts are users with read-only access to financial reports.
