Alert exceptions

An alert exception is a report that shows each data point that falls within defined ranges. The ranges are generally established to uncover extremely poor or outstanding performance. Unlike report exception which are only applied to non-writeable cells, you can apply alert exceptions to both writeable or non-writeable cells.

The administrator may have already defined alert exceptions. You can also define your own personal alerts.

• Add lets you create an alert exception for the current view.
• Edit/Delete lets you redefine the range values of an existing alert exception or change the colors assigned to a range in an alert exception. You can also delete alert exceptions that you defined.
