Auditing journals

There are several audit tools you can use to trace your intercompany eliminations. Journal audit reports reflect posted or unposted journals:

• The Journal Definitions report shows the unique information used to define Intercompany Eliminations journals along with the last-modified date, status (working, approved, or posted), and dates of the first and last posting (when applicable).
• The Audit by Journal Name report shows the journal name, the original detail line amounts, the elimination amounts, and the name of the elimination unit used, among other information.

The Reconciliation report provides posted adjustment details for each account selected. Use this report to trace the details to resolve issues.
