General information
- Users with read-only security have limited access to Detail Budgeting tasks. For example, analysis views are available for review purposes but the Event Generator and data entry views are unavailable for selection. You can assign the same user different access for employee data than for asset data.
- Users with an analyst role do not have access to Detail Budgeting data entry or reporting.
- Detail Budgeting respects the focus range.
- The names of views mentioned in this guide can be different than the view names assigned by your administrator.
- Your administrator can set up additional analysis views.
- All Employee and Asset views display data for the unit selected from the drop-down list on the Detail Budgeting page. Instructions for using Detail Budgeting assume the correct unit has been selected for each view.
- In the examples provided, the Unit dimension is the main dimension, and the Product dimension is the secondary dimension.
- Your application may not include the secondary dimension allocation feature. In this case, the secondary dimension allocation buttons and fields do not display.
