Rules
- This report runs for the
exact dimension members selected on the report page. When a consolidation
member is selected, its descendants are not processed unless specifically
selected. The exception to this rule is the Schedule dimension (i.e., all lines
are included in the report if the schedule is selected).
- Zeroes display for a unit
when the selected data slice was not consolidated.
- When schedules are
selected on the report form, the report displays the accounts in the same order
as in the schedule hierarchy.
- If both schedules and
individual lines were selected, the report displays individual lines first,
followed by the selected schedules with their lines. Therefore, if an
individually-selected line is also included in a schedule, the line is
displayed twice.
- These rules apply to
Suppress Zeroes:
- If all the accounts
for all selected schedules are null, the lines are suppressed and the report
displays the message
No Records Found
.
- If all the accounts
for all selected schedules are suppressed, the schedule and unit names display
only if the suppressed lines include at least one reported or calculated zero
value. The schedule and unit names do not display if the lines include all null
values.
- If the last
adjustment for an account (which includes the net amount) is suppressed, the
net amount does not display for that line.
- If one or more of the
zero values for the reported/ adjusted data is a result of the report's
rounding option, the account is suppressed even though a non-zero database
value exists for that line.
- When zeroes are
suppressed, the report can display zeroes for both reported, adjusted, and net
adjusted amounts for downfoot lines (such as Total Liabilities and Equity), for
formula lines (such as Translation Gain/Loss), and for data lines that include
indirect adjustments. For example, a data line for the North America unit can
display zero amounts when there is no reported data but a 100 credit adjustment
for New York and a 100 debit adjustment for Toronto roll up to result in a zero
net value for adjusted and net adjusted data.
- Only one net amount
displays in the Net column for the adjusted line when Display Net Total Per
Journal Type is disabled. When enabled, two amounts display, one for each
journal type. A net amount does not display for each journal of the same
journal type.
