Elim. Amount column

The Elim. Amt column shows the translated, owned amounts for each Match or Match With line that are eliminated during a consolidation.

If a unit is less than 100% owned and the administrator set up the application to calculate third-party amounts, the minority interest of the third party displays in a third-party line. In this case, the eliminated amount for each Match or Match With line is calculated as follows:

Match Amount Eliminated = (Sum of the translated Match line amounts for the transaction set) * consolidation percent of specifying unit

Match With Amount Eliminated = (Sum of the translated Match With line amounts for the transaction set) * consolidation percent of specifying unit

If a unit is less than 100% owned and the administrator did not set up the application to calculate third-party amounts, then the minority interest of the third party remains in the Match or Match With line. In this case, the eliminated amount for each Match and Match With line is calculated as follows:

Match Amount Eliminated = (Sum of the translated Match line amounts for the transaction set) * (lesser of the consolidation percent of the specifying unit and affiliated unit)

Match With Amount Eliminated = (Sum of the translated Match With line amounts for the transaction set) * (lesser of the consolidation percent of the specifying unit and affiliated unit)
