Copy Financial Data

Copy Financial Data copies selected source data to a target destination. Financial data can be copied across versions, periods, rate sets, or Adjusted State dimension members. In addition to copying financial data, the process copies any supporting worksheet detail data. Copy Financial Data also provides the optional ability to include cell notes, Detail Budgeting detail, Workforce Budgeting configuration and employee budget data, and intercompany transaction details as part of the copy process.

Copy Financial Data provides the ability to copy all dimension members across versions with a single click. In the expanded advanced layout, specific source data slices can be selected and copied to a specific target destination.

Copy Financial Data can be used to:

• Archive budget passes
• Create rolling forecast scenarios from multiple versions
• Seed opening period balances across versions

Copy Financial Data requires the user to have read-write access to all target dimension members and periods.
