Running Erase Ownership Data

Before erasing any data, back up your database.

To run Erase Ownership Data:

  1. Open the Erase Ownership Data page.
  2. Select the date range of the data you want to erase. The start and end dates must be within the same year.
  3. Click the underlined dimension names and select the desired dimension members.
    Option Description
    Organization Unit Select one or more units. The members must be explicitly selected as Self or as related members (such as Children or Descendants) to be erased. In the Hierarchy list, be sure to select the unit hierarchy to which the selected unit belongs.
    Version Select one or more versions from which to erase ownership data.
  4. Click Erase Ownership Data. After the data is erased in the ownership fact tables, a message indicates the time elapsed.
  5. Click Close.
