Running the Unit Contribution report

To run the Unit Contribution report:

  1. Open the Unit Contribution Report page.
  2. Click a dimension button above the grid and select the members.
    • You can select one member for the off-grid dimensions. Off-grid dimensions and members are displayed in the report header.
    • For the Schedule dimension, all lines associated with the selected schedule are included.
    • If you are using the Ownership process and the selected member in the Unit dimension is a consolidation unit, the associated elimination unit, ownership unit, and all contributing leaf units are included. Otherwise, it is the selected unit and it's children.
    • Changes to the report's member selection are retained throughout the browser session.
  3. These options are available.
    Option Description
    Round to <number> Decimal Places Select this check box to round data to the specified number of decimal places.
    Suppress Zero Rows Select this check box to eliminate rows with null and/or zero database values.
    Suppress Zero Columns Select this check box to eliminate columns with null and/or zero database values.
    Freeze Rows This option freezes rows for scrolling purposes. You can freeze up to five of the top rows. The first row is not included in this count.
    Freeze Columns This option freezes columns for scrolling purposes. You can freeze up to five left most columns. The first column is not included in this count.
    Contribution Factor These options specify how the contributing leaf unit's data is displayed. Choose 100% or the consolidation percentage. The value selected here is displayed in the header of the report. See "Contribution factor" for further information.
    Display Managerial Consolidation Results This check box adjusts the Unit Contribution report to follow the ownership's new managerial consolidation option. When this check box is selected, a unit whose holding company parent is not included as part of the selected organization structure branch is not included on the Unit Contribution report. The unit appears in the same organization branch as it's holding company parent.
  4. Click Generate Report. A note indicator is shown to highlight the information that the system calculated consolidation method or percentage has been manually overridden.
