- Data for ancestors of the selected Period dimension members are also erased.
- Data for ancestors of the selected Unit dimension are not erased. Descendants are not erased unless specifically selected.
- Only investor relationships and ownership properties (including ownership percents) are erased. Consolidation method ranges and Ownership journal definitions and posting status are not erased. To erase adjustment detail for the Ownership process, see "Erase Data".
- After erasing ownership data, it is important to re-run the Prepare Intercompany Eliminations process to update journal data and then reconsolidate to roll up the changed data, compute new totals, post new Ownership journals journals, and refresh journal posting status.
Erase Ownership Data replaces existing values with null values for ownership data in these fact tables:
