Selecting members and generating the report

The following instructions assume a merged Period/Year dimension and the Unit dimension is the reporting dimension.

  1. Open the Consolidation Status Monitor page.
  2. Click Selection Form and select the dimension whose members you want to view in the report. You can select to display by schedule line items or by the reporting dimension. If the report is set to display the reporting dimension, the Descendant Levels list is enabled. Select All to display all descendants of the selected reporting dimension member in the report. If you do not want to include all descendants, select the generation levels to include:
    Option Description
0 Include only the selected reporting dimension member and no descendants. Level 0 is always the level in which the selected reporting dimension member resides.
1 through 9 Include all the descendants from the first generation level through the selected level. For example, selecting 3 includes the children (level 1), the grandchildren (level 2), and the great-grandchildren (level 3) of the reporting dimension member.
  3. You can select multiple members for the Period dimension (for a grid report only) or for the Schedule dimension (if either report is set to display by schedule). You can select only one member from the remaining dimensions. For non-reporting dimensions, this one member must be a top-level member. You must have access to at least one top-level member.
    1. Select one or more periods for a grid report.
    2. If the report will display by the reporting dimension, select only one schedule. If the report will display by schedule line items, select one or more schedules of the same periodicity. To improve performance, limit the number of schedules.
  4. Click Generate Status.
