Viewing alert exceptions

The Alert Exceptions page lets you view administrator defined alert exceptions as well as those that you have defined.

The page provides the following details:

  • A tooltip displays the date the alert was last evaluated.
  • Indicates whether you have viewed your personal alerts.

You can edit or delete your personal alert exceptions using the right-click menu on the grid included on the page.

To investigate an item in the alert, select the data value in the alert row. The source view is at the bottom of the Alert Exceptions page and is used to compare the value within the overall context.

To view exceptions:

  1. Select Management Reporting > Alert Exceptions.
  2. From the left section, select the Administrative or Personal alert you want to view. Each alert appears as an item in the section. New alerts have a yellow halo around the alert icon. When you select an alert, it displays in the right section of the report. The original view displays below the alert report.
