Rules
Translation rates
- When translating the reported intercompany data, the process respects the rate set pre-determined by the administrator for the selected version within Architect. This rate set improves consistency in the Currency Translation Adjustment (CTA) calculations during translation. For information on CTA, see the Infor CPM Consolidation User Guide.
- If the version being processed is not associated with a rate set in Architect, the view's off-grid RateSet dimension member is used to back-translate intercompany data to the affiliated unit's local currency.
Rounding
Intercompany data is rounded based on the application's rounding rules. The default is the first applicable decimal setting in this list:
- Account decimal setting.
- If none, then the currency setting for the selected unit.
- If none, then the SystemDecimalPrecision setting defined in the Sys_Params table.
- If none, then two decimal places.
