Defining the period dimension
This step is only required when creating an empty database from a shell.
| Option | Description |

| Period Level | Select each period level that you want to include in the plan. The default is one calendar year with the lowest level being months. For example, you can choose to start the year on any date and for multiple years. Also, you can choose to have a year with 13 periods as is common in retail. Uncheck Month and check Period. Then adjust the Period level properties, such as the number of periods and how the periods roll up into quarters. |
