Manually specifying data

If the Manual option was selected as the data source for a measure, you can use the reports under the Update category to manually specify data.

The Set Variable Actuals and Set Variable Targets pages are data entry pages where you can specify variable data. The Set Variable Actuals page lets you specify the actual values for variables. Select the plan object, unit, and period and fill in the actual values. Additional columns show the target for the plan object, unit, and period combination you selected. The Set Variable Targets page enables you specify the target values for variables. Select the plan object, unit, periods, and scenario and fill in the target values.

The Set Current Actuals report is a data entry page that lets you specify the actual values for plan objects. Select the period and fill in the actual values. Additional columns show the target for each scenario for each plan object.

The Set Targets page is a data entry page that lets you set the targets for each scenario for the plan objects with manual measures. While targets are specified when a measure is defined, this provides an alternative that enables the user to see multiple objects over time.
