Upgrade Plan
Using the Upgrade Plan option, you can upgrade a plan with the latest changes. Keep these points in mind.
- Plans are not automatically upgraded when installing a new version. Before installing a new version, you should first back up the plan.
- Any customizations made in Analysis Services to the plan, such as calculations, may be lost when a plan is upgraded. We recommend that you backup your plans before upgrading a plan.
To upgrade a plan:
- On the CPM Server computer, select .
- Select and click .
- Select Upgrade Plan and click .
- Select the plans to upgrade and click .
- Click .
The attachments and
discussions features have been merged into a single user interface. Attachments
used to have a name and description. These two fields are merged into one in a
database upgrade. Additionally, attachments that were uploaded are moved to the
new attachment storage folder.
