Upgrade Plan

Using the Upgrade Plan option, you can upgrade a plan with the latest changes. Keep these points in mind.

  • Plans are not automatically upgraded when installing a new version. Before installing a new version, you should first back up the plan.
  • Any customizations made in Analysis Services to the plan, such as calculations, may be lost when a plan is upgraded. We recommend that you backup your plans before upgrading a plan.

To upgrade a plan:

  1. On the CPM Server computer, select Infor Corporate Performance Management > Strategy Management > Application Wizard.
  2. Select Plan Administration and click Next.
  3. Select Upgrade Plan and click Next.
  4. Select the plans to upgrade and click Upgrade.
  5. Click Exit.
The attachments and discussions features have been merged into a single user interface. Attachments used to have a name and description. These two fields are merged into one in a database upgrade. Additionally, attachments that were uploaded are moved to the new attachment storage folder.
