Calculate performance value for object with measure

This section explains the actual calculations used to determine performance value (activity or outcome) for an object that has a defined measure.

The performance value is displayed as a percentage. The calculations vary depending on the measure direction specified for the value.

These performance value calculations assume that the target defines the scope. For example, look at the case where target is 100 and the higher number is better as in sales. Then with a target of 100, an actual value of 100 yields a performance value of 100% while an actual value of 0 yields a 0%. This is explained in more detail for each measure type.
