Error resolution

The Error Report tab enables you to view the lines that did not load. Errors are highlighted pink. As you hover over an erroneous cell, a description of the error is displayed. There are several methods you must use to resolve the error.

This list shows some common methods you can use to fix errors:

  • Add or modify the transformations.
  • Change the settings specified on the Columns or Source File tabs of the Load Definition Wizard.
  • Change structure, focus range or user security.
  • Modify the original source file or the process that produces it.
  • Verify the setting of the Type column on the Columns tab.
  • Select another period or source file for the load.

After all errors are corrected, you can run the load definition again to load the erroneous data. You can also create a new load definition.

If you are running in Basic mode, you should contact your administrator for assistance. See Security profiles.

These are the options:

Option Description
Source Line Number of the row in the source data file.
Mapped Columns All the mapped columns. See "Columns Tab" for details on mapping columns.
Show Errors only displays only the records that failed to load. All rows display all the records from the source file.
