View settings

A View Manager view is used for the OpenLink page. You can use a view to define the default settings for the period/year and workflow dimensions. To control the default unit hierarchy and members for the workflow (unit) dimension, you must add the UseOnGridMemberInOpenLink parameter to the NONSTRUCTURE_PARAMS table. If the parameter is missing, OpenLink behaves as if it is set to No.

This table shows how to control the default settings:

	Set UseOnGridMemberInOpenLink to Y and the initial member selection is determined by:	Set UseOnGridMemberInOpenLink to N and the initial member selection is determined by:
Load Group	Display_Order set in the OLE_LOAD_GROUPS table.	Display_Order set in the OLE_LOAD_GROUPS table.
Unit Hierarchy	The Unit hierarchy for on-grid members in the view.	The first hierarchy in the list.
Period, Year, or Period/Year	The default off-grid members in the view unless DEFAULT_PERIOD_ID, DEFAULT_YEAR_ID , or AP_VIEW_NAME values are manually set in OLE_LOAD_GROUPS	The default off-grid members in the view unless DEFAULT_PERIOD_ID, DEFAULT_Year_ID , or AP_VIEW_NAME values are set manually in OLE_LOAD_GROUPS
Workflow dimension	On-grid members in the view. Unit must be the down dimension.	All allowed members in the first hierarchy in the list.
