OpenLink overview

A key indication of a successful CPM implementation is the loading of data into the CPM database from source systems. OpenLink provides a structured application environment specifically designed to facilitate data loading although also allowing the loading of financial data or currency exchange rate data.

OpenLink enables you to map and load source data into CPM. You can load data from flat files or from tables in a source system or data warehouse. OpenLink provides a full audit trail and validation and reporting capabilities.

OpenLink is integrated in the CPM installation. When a load is run, the status is displayed immediately, both in the OpenLink workflow interface and in the Approval Process with a loaded status. OpenLink provides functionality to group and report on related loads. This allows separate reporting for actual, forecast, and budget loads.
