Duplicate or missing members in view

You may notice duplicate or missing members in a view after reloading the view if:

You formatted the view using Excel features prior to reloading the view. For example, if you inserted a row using the Insert View Row command from the CPM Views toolbar or menu but deleted it using Excel's Delete command. After reloading the view, this results in one or more duplicate view members.

You specified new text over a view member name (accidentally or intentionally) prior to reloading the view. In this case, Excel Services remembered your changes to the old member name (now missing in the reloaded view) and a new member name displays in its place.

  1. Highlight any cell you believe is incorrect.
  2. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  3. Click Refresh Worksheet Data. In the case of duplicate members, the refreshed view may include a blank row. You can delete a blank row using the Delete View Row command.
